Led by Senegalese musician and composer Alune Wade to celebrate the release of his album, New African Orleans, we helped to produce, the concert will feature Alune’s band with New Orleans-based artists Corey Henry (trombone), Kirk Joseph (sousaphone), David McKissick (trumpet), St. Julian X (saxophone), Sunni Patterson (poetry) with back-up vocals by the incomparable Sula Evans and Nana Anoa Nantambu.\nNew African Orleans is the thrilling new project from acclaimed bassist, vocalist, and composer Alune Wade.
