Suggested Donation: $20 general admission | $10 student, senior etc.
Doors open around 6:30PM | Performance at 7:00PM
The French duet “DUOMANONBEN,” performed by Manon (a French soprano in town for few weeks) and Benjamin (a pianist and singer-songwriter from Paris currently living in New Orleans) takes you on a musical journey from the United-States to Europe! This eclectic program features works by Verdi, Rachmaninov, Fauré, Bernstein, 19th century New Orleans classical composers, Benjamin’s original songs, and pop anthems. From romanticism to modern genres (including popular music, operas, operettas, art songs and traditional Hebrew folk songs), Manon delivers much of the program singing in full operatic voice but demonstrates her range of expression and subtlety of voice when singing with Benjamin. This intimate performance bathed in soft light will make for an atmospheric and evocative evening. Ready to embark?
Approximately 1 hour 40 minutes trip + one connection [um, intermission!]
