Calvin Rowe Community Classes
Class Dates between June 30 – July 16, 2025
All classes run 6:00-7:00PM – no late entry, doors will lock
- June 30 & July 14: Creative/Improvisational Movement
- July 1 & July 15: Body T: Strength & Conditioning
- July 2 & July 16: Escuchar Profundo: Daoist Breathing
Suggested Donation: $10-20

MOH summer residency artist Calvin Rowe offers 3 diverse community classes focused on dance, strengthening, & breathing. All levels welcome!
ABOUT CALVIN ROWE: Calvin has toured nationally and internationally with FLOCK Dance and Lightwire Theater. He has danced original works by Pavel Tsuziak, Netta Yerushalmy, Stephen Wynne, and many more. He has also choreographed and danced for the Marigny Opera House’s resident contemporary ballet company Marigny Opera Ballet. Most recently, he debuted and performed in his original piece “The Rite Line” for Making Space Volume IV, whose focus was “death of the old soul through sacrifice and rebirth through healing.”
Here are a few important details to read before attending class:
~ Community Classes are donation-based: no one turned away for lack of funds, no pressure!
~ This event accepts Eventbrite-only transactions, either in advance online or in-person at the event via QR code.
~ Street parking only: please avoid parking in the loading zone.
~ The doors will open 20 minutes prior to the start of class to reserve your spot.
~ We promptly lock the doors once class has started, so please plan accordingly. No late entry.
~ Dance attire is recommended (ie, clothes for movement, dance footwear) but not required.
~ Come with an open mind! 🙂
