The Seven Deadly Sins
Composed during the time of tremendous political upheaval in Europe, this ballet-chanté was the last work by the genius of Kurt Weill before immigrating to the United States. The story follows Anna I (a singer) and Anna II (a dancer) – two split sides of one woman determined to earn a better life for herself, travelling through 7 cities across the country, returning to Louisiana to finally buy a home for her and her family.

CAIN is a reimagined ballet-opera that will premiere at the Marigny Opera House in September 2026. The music is a resurrection of the 1707 oratorio Cain, overo il primo omicidio by Alessandro Scarlatti – one of the most celebrated composers of the Baroque era.
