The purpose of the Sonic Architects is to create new landscapes through music that can function as a vessel for the listener and performers alike to dream. Through our live shows the message is the power held within coming together; community.

Benjamin Cousins is a Clarinetist/ Composer born and raised in New Orleans, LA. At the age of 14, he began practicing the lineage of improvised music his hometown is most famous for producing. Benjamin was a NOCCA student and went on to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, later receiving his masters at Temple University. Note about the Sonic Architect Project: “The Sonic Architects is my first full-length project. The purpose of the Sonic Architect is to create new landscapes through music that can function as a vessel for the listener and performers alike to dream. Through our live shows the message is the power held within coming together; community.” The band can be found playing live shows throughout the city, with plans to record the project early 2024!
