Emergence: New Orleans Colorguard Arts with Loose Willis

New Orleans Colorguard Arts is on the forefront of introducing a genre still new to the fine arts world into the realm of contemporary dance. Here, a duet partner is a piece of fabric, or a six-foot pole of light. In our one-night-only live performance collaboration with local band Loose Willis, NOCGA promises an evening to remember!

Founded in 2017, NOCGA is dedicated to creating unique performance art collaborations with local artists in addition to the many educational programs they offer. After a successful year of classes, parades, and some informal performances, NOCGA held auditions in late 2017 for their performance group, The Proposition. Spring 2018 marks their exciting premier season.
