Schola NOLA: World Choral Day

On November 27th Schola NOLA is joining a global celebration of choral music. World Choral Day is an initiative by maestro Alberto Grau where millions of singers around the world take over concert halls, churches, schools and parks to share a message of peace and love.

The program is focused on three sources that enrich the art of choral singing: sacred texts, poetry, and  traditional music, all from the eye of contemporary composers. Our selections are from David Basden, Matt van Brink, Eric Whitacre, Michal Ziolkowski, Miclhael John Trotta, John Rutter, Federico Ruiz and arrangements by Robert Edgerton and Markus Detterbeck.

Schola NOLA welcomes you to experience the joy and beauty of choral singing.  You will be able to sing with us in one of the pieces, so start warming up!

Doors at 7:30PM.

The event is finished.
